Alexa phoned us from Rome. She was planning her honeymoon to Bali . . . envisioning an itinerary that would allow her husband and her to be flexible, discover activities on a day-by-day basis, and stay in hotels of their choosing. She was shocked when her travel agent told her that the only way she could plan such a trip within her budget was to book a package. Was this right? Alexa certainly didn't want her honeymoon days dictated by others! So, she discovered GlobalTravelAdvice and sent us an email . . . They wished to include the Crossing of the Lakes, Explora Lodge in Chile, a cruise around the Horn, fishing on the way, and if possible a winery or two. They worked for hours using travel tips from the web and ended up with a very costly zigzag air schedule and many questions about where to stay and where to fish...
